Give a child or youth a personalized gift of hope and joy!

All year round, Canadians show their care for the children and youth by filling shoeboxes with gifts of all kinds.

A gift-filled shoebox is a powerful connector, as it enables you to choose the gifts and place a letter in the shoebox to directly communicate your words of encouragement; to the children and youth, it is profoundly touching to know that a "real" person has lovingly packed the box and is thinking of them.

Students receive the gift-filled shoeboxes at the beginning of the school year, and then throughout the year they can receive more boxes as they achieve milestones in learning. The milestones are determined by the teachers, and include such things as attendance, improvement and attitude.
